Swift Creek is blessed to have two distinctly different, and yet equally powerful worship services. Yet we are still One Church in spirit, fellowship, and mission.
Contemporary Service – 9 am:
The contemporary worship service is led by the Swift Creek Praise Team, made up of vocals, guitars, drums, and piano/keyboard. Dress at the service is more on the casual side. Pastor David reads scripture and preaches each week, and on the first Sunday of the month, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper together.
Traditional Service – 11 am:
At our traditional service, a liturgist/worship leader and the Swift Creek Choir lead us in spirited worship with classic hymns and praise music. On occasion, the Swift Creek Handbells bring vibrant and joyful music to the congregation. Pastor David reads scripture and preaches. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated the first Sunday of the month.
Sunday School – 10 am:
From September through June, we study God’s word in Sunday school starting around 10 am. There are classes for adults, youth, and elementary age children. Sunday school ends by 10:50 so those attending the traditional worship service have plenty of time to get to the worship room.
