Nancy Crenshaw is the Music Director at the 11 am traditional service. Having joined Swift Creek in 1997, she directs the Adult Choir and the Adult Handbells.
A native of Chesterfield County and a lifetime member of the Presbyterian Church, Nancy graduated from Longwood College in 1973 with a degree in Music Education. Now retired, she taught music in Chesterfield County Schools for 30 years, the last twenty-five being at Clover Hill Elementary. She was honored with becoming the first fine arts teacher to receive the award of being the Chesterfield County Teacher of the Year in 2004.
In her spare time, she enjoys working on the family genealogy and gardening. Her family includes her husband, Jack, a son, Kenny, who lives in Charlotte, NC and a daughter, Karen, who lives in Hanover, VA. She has one grandson, Austin, whom she adores!
