Adult Ministries equip people to pursue spiritual growth and a closer walk with God.
Adult Sunday School (currently suspended)
Join us on Sundays at 10:00 am from September thru June for a time of building community and growing in our Biblical understanding. You may join in at any time. We begin by sharing food, conversation and prayer followed by the lesson we are studying.
We have a robust and thriving Men’s Ministry here at Swift Creek Presbyterian with many ways for you to get involved. Let’s face it, it’s hard to find a wingman or form a band of brothers in the foyer on Sunday mornings. That’s why we have events going on weekly, monthly, and quarterly to help us become better men.
Each week SCPC is home to the Men’s Alliance which consists of an epic outdoor workout followed by a real-world devotion around a fire. We meet rain or shine (or snow!) Men’s Alliance is the best way to get out of isolation and meet other men, get into better shape and out of your comfort zone, and become a better husband, father, and leader! Men’s Alliance meets Monday nights at 7pm. Check out the Men’s Alliance website here for all the info.
Also each week there is a Thursday night Bible study for men looking to grow deeper in their knowledge of the Word of God.
Monthly (Currently Suspended)
The first Saturday of every month we have the best breakfast you will eat all month! Loosen your belt and come fill up on bacon, eggs, biscuits, and coffee! This is a great way to meet men that go to a different service time at SCPC.
Quarterly (Currently Suspended)
One of the highlights of our men’s ministry is our quarterly Men’s Nights! We’ve brought in amazing speakers such as: ACC Football referee Dan Worley, Navy SEAL Chad Williams, Delta Force Commander Jerry Boykin, State Trooper Steve Lambert, and Clinical Social Worker Mike Flynn. Proverbs 27:17 tells us that just as iron sharpens iron, so does one man sharpen another – and these events let the sparks fly!
Women’s Ministry (Currently Suspended)
Thursday morning at 10 a.m. (twice a month during the school year) – Bible Study and discussion
Small groups are integral to deepening faith and growing community. We provide multiple opportunities to join in fellowship, study, and prayer. For more information, please contact the church office at 804-739-1183 or email@example.com.
Moving On After Moving In
This class provides women with the help and encouragement they need to make a smoother transition into their new surroundings and feel “at home” quicker. Join us as we make friends and learn about the new community we call “home.” We discuss the book, After the Boxes are Unpacked, which guides us through the transition from our old familiar lifestyle to a new, promising way of life.
Our next class begins this fall. We meet Sunday afternoons from 2-4 pm.

Young at Heart (Currently Suspended)
We have the best of all worlds. The experience of years and the time to have fun with it. Our Young at Heart group is filled with people who have the “vitality of youth“. A man once said: “just because there’s snow on the roof, don’t think the fire has gone out in the furnace.” Our zeal for life is contagious the moment you join us, because you’ll see the joy we have in coming together. We offer periodic programs including potlucks, dining out, speakers, etc. Check out our activities on the church calendar. Contact us for more information at firstname.lastname@example.org.
