Worship Style

At Swift Creek, we believe that passionate worship is essential to giving praise and glory to God. Regardless of which service you attend, we worship for about 45 minutes. The same message is delivered at both services. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month – currently suspended. Here are a few highlights:

  • 9 & 10:15 am: At our early worship service, dress tends to be more on the casual side. We worship with contemporary music, led by the Swift Creek Praise Band. Using vocals, guitars, keyboards, and drums, they lead us in giving all the praise to Jesus.
  • 11:30 am: Casual dress is great, but some folks like to dress up a tad more at our later service. Most weeks, music is led by the Swift Creek Choir, Handbells, or a music ensemble. We sing classic hymns to God that delight and energize our spirits.

First and foremost, come as you are. You will find a great variety of attire at Swift Creek, with people dressed casually to “Sunday best.” If you would like to just blend in your first week, business casual is a safe bet!

Growing, Caring, and Engaging

All volunteers who interact with children and youth are background checked because the safety and security of your children is important to us.

Children’s Worship (K – 5th grade) 10:15 service only at the pavilion: Our elementary students can check in at the pavilion as parents head to worship. We will have our lesson, sing songs, make crafts and more outside and than can be picked up immediately after this service. Kids can be registered when parents register for 10:15 worship service.

Infants – 3 years old (currently suspended): We offer a nursery for infants to age three, with a pager system for parents’ peace of mind.

Preschoolers (ages 3-4) (currently suspended): Preschool worship class is held during the 9am service. Preschoolers should be taken to their room on the lower level before the service begins.
